With a grant provided by the Arts Society Ballinger, Lee Common Church of England School created this wonderful mosaic. Every child in the school contributed to it.
The mosaic is now proudly mounted at the school with a plaque alongside telling its story.
The Arts Society Ballinger is building its relationship with Missenden Walled Garden in support of their objectives.
Missenden Walled Garden is an award-winning charity, empowering adults with learning disabilities and autism to transform their lives through Social Therapeutic Horticulture (STH), community engagement and enrichment. The Missenden Walled Garden focus is Social Therapeutic Horticulture STH and the outdoor environment. A practice that uses gardening, plants and nature to help people improve their physical and mental health.
The 2025 Ballinger Flower Festival was held in St Mary's Church and the Arts Society Ballinger provided this lovely display.
