Volunteering with The Arts Society

Volunteering is at the heart of The Arts Society's work and offers Members a wide range of opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to the arts, heritage, and their local communities. It is a rewarding way to share your interests, develop new skills, and make a lasting difference through your membership.

Volunteers can support arts education projects for children and young people, help preserve and interpret cultural heritage through conservation and museum-based activities, create local Trails of Discovery, and assist with the running of local Member Societies.

Whether sharing professional expertise, developing new skills, or giving time to support community initiatives, volunteers play a vital role in extending access to the arts and helping to protect and celebrate our cultural heritage.

From inspiring young people through arts education projects and helping to preserve our cultural heritage, to creating local Trails of Discovery and supporting the activities of Member Societies, there are opportunities to suit a wide range of interests and experience.

Discover how you can expand your membership and become part of a passionate community working together to bring the arts, culture, and heritage to life for others — helping to inspire learning, protect cultural heritage and make a lasting difference in communities.
