For those who believe art is more than something to admire, The Arts Society Madrid offers a new way to learn, connect and belong. Through expert-led TASM Talks and a welcoming international community, we bring people together around the arts, from painting, architecture and heritage to music, theatre, literature, film and contemporary culture.

TASM Talks events are led by The Arts Society accredited storytellers. This is not just another lecture series.
It is a new cultural society for curious minds in Madrid.

TASM Cultural Trips: Curated one-day visits to museums, galleries, stately homes, and hidden architectural gems in the Madrid area that offer "behind-the-scenes" access and expert-led tours that you won't find on a typical solo visit.

Who We Are
The Arts Society is an international non-profit arts education organisation with a long-established network of local societies in the UK, Europe and Australasia.

Today, it brings arts education and culture to a community of over 64,000 members, with more than 300 Arts Societies offering expert talks, events, cultural activities and opportunities to connect through a shared love of the arts.
And now, The Arts Society arrives in Madrid.

As a non-profit cultural society, The Arts Society Madrid is dedicated to bringing people together through the arts and creating a welcoming cultural community for Madrid's English-speaking and international audience.

What to Expect
Expert-Led Cultural Events.
The Arts Society Madrid brings cultural subjects to life through storytelling, context and expert insight. Each event is an opportunity to see an artist, a period, a city, a movement or an idea from a new perspective. You do not need to be an art expert. You only need curiosity.

Our First Event Launches on Thursday, 22 October 2026

The Arts Society Madrid will hold its inaugual event on 22 October 2026, marking the beginning of a new cultural society in the city. This first event titled Hidden Canvases: Street Art and The City, by Doug Gillen Director Fifth Wall TV, will be held at the Casa de Vacas Cultural Center in Retiro Park. We will introduce our 2027 Programme of expert-led TASM Talks created for curious minds and art lovers of all backgrounds. It is also a founding moment for those who want to be part of The Arts Society Madrid from the start. The Opening Reception starts at 18:30, with the talk at 19:30. Free admission for all Members. Guest tickets 10€.
