Once the property of King Henry VIII, Penshurst Place was granted to Sir William Sidney in 1552 and has been in continuous occupation by the family for over 470 years.

Our morning private viewing of this wonderful stately home will include the awe-inspiring Baron’s Hall, the Long Gallery, The Elizabeth I Room and the many treasured family portraits, antique furniture and skilfully crafted tapestries.
Lunch will be served in The Garden Room. The afternoon tours will offer the opportunity to enjoy the 48 acres of beautiful grounds, including the 11 acre formal Grand 1 listed gardens, a mile of yew hedging, the arboretum and lakes.
Travel is by coach from Henley Station Car Park.
Please note that Day Visits require a good level of mobility as there is always a fair degree of walking, often with steps and uneven ground. (Please ask for more information if this is a concern). Day Visits are not included in the annual membership and come at an extra cost.
