Lecturer: Simon Seligman

The youngest Mitford sister and wife of the 11th Duke of Devonshire transformed Chatsworth from the worn-out survivor of war and social change into one of the best-loved, historic estates in the country.

Simon’s knowledge stems from the 19 years he worked at Chatsworth – from cleaning lavatories and car parking to Head of Communications, lecturing extensively about the House, its collections and associated topics, throughout the UK and USA.
