The Arts Society started as a local group - The Chiltern Antiques Group - founded in 1965 by Partricia Fay, to help local young women explore the arts. 

We have grown significantly over the decades since and now have a 60,000 plus membership, over 370 local Member Societies throughout the UK and internationally and a directory of over 300 Accredited Lecturers - all sharing a joy and passion for the arts and heritage.
